Projects carried out in cooperation with other organizations
1. Avalon, Foundation of Wommels, Netherlands Green Lane is a member of Avalon Network. The executive director of Green Lane, Gayane Rafaelyan, participated in the Network Meeting II on June 6-8, 2005 in Krakow, Poland. After that, in September 2006, the President of Green Lane, Nune Sarukhanyan, attended the Network Meeting III held in Prague, Czech Republic.

2. The International Agricultural Center, Netherlands Four specialists of Green Lane took part in two-week courses on organic farming and agriculture in transition at Wageningen International Agricultural Center. Participation of our specialists has been supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia and funded by NUFFIC Foundation.
3. Bioterra Organic Farming Association, Romania Bioterra is one of those organizations that contributed significantly to the establishment of our organization. During the last four years, our Romanian partners hosted twelve Green Lane specialists who made study tours to Romania to learn from the experience of European organic farmers. 4. ACDI/VOCA

In cooperation with partner organizations - ACDI/VOCA (USA), Euroconsult Mott MacDonald (the Netherlands) and VISTA PLUS (Armenia) - Green Lane is actively involved in a project for development of high value agriculture in Armenia. more...

In addition, ACDI VOCA provides technical assistance to Green Lane by inviting relevant international experts from the USA.

5. Armenian State Agrarian University and
Agric Research Centers
Specialists of ASAU and Research Centers help our farmer groups (Local Extension and Research Groups - LERG) conduct on-farm research mainly focused on organic methods of pest and disease control, new crop varieties, etc.
6. Democracy Today NGO Democracy Today has established several women's groups throughout Armenia. Green Lane provides agricultural education and consultancy for them.

7. United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) UMCOR provided Green Lane with vegetable seeds which were delivered to the member farmers free of charge.
8. USDA MAP,
Research Center and Armenian Agricultural Academy
These organizations collaborated with Green Lane in a research project on organic farming conducted in cooperation with different farmer groups. The focus of this on-farm research was weed control with vinegar solution.

These organizations provided materials and financial support for field days and seminars on the topic of "Organic Agriculture, Its Management System and Prospective in Armenia." Green Lane organized seminars and presented this information in 11 communities where it has partner farmer groups.
10. The Agribusiness Teaching Center Green Lane offers internship opportunity to ATC students to provide them with working experience in a real business environment. Working in the office, the students develop their skills and provide great assistance for our organization.
11. Agricultural Support Republic Center (ASRC) ASRC cooperates with us in developing Innovative Technology Project Proposals and submitting them to various funding organizations. In ASRC's AGROLRATU agricultural newspaper articles and other informational materials provided by Green Lane are published.

Green Lane actively exchanges professional knowledge and information related to agriculture and environment with these organizations .
13. USDA MAP USDA MAP assisted us in producing publications and information materials, including the first book on organic agriculture in Armenia authored by Nune Sarukhanyan. This book, along with many fact sheets on various topics related to organic farming, was published in cooperation with USDA MAP.
14. Fruitful Armenia Green Lane cooperated with Fruitful Armenia taking part in organization of three Fruitful Agricultural Conferences held in Yerevan in 2005-2007. About 100 members of Green Lane - farmers and other specislists working in the field of agriculture - attended these conferences.

16. World Bank's RESCAD Project Green Lane is involved in a project aimed to establish and develop Farmer Field Schools in Armenia. As a part of RESCAD, this new project is coordinated by the Agricultural Reform Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Ministry of Agriculture of RA. World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) Under WSPA's small grant project, Green Lane received financial support for starting training cycles in farm animal welfare for farmers and agricultural specialists throughout Armenia. Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Georgia Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia significantly supported us in getting funds for the Project aimed at Building Capacity for Farmer Groups on Organic Farming and Low Input Sustainable Agriculture in Mountain Regions of Armenia, as well as for getting financial support for our members to attend training courses offered by the International Agricultural Center in Wageningen, the Netherlands. more...
