Pioneering in Agricultural and Rural Development in Armenia
Green Lane NGO became one of the pioneer organizations in Armenia that adapted and put in practice the concepts of participatory approaches to the rural development; community- and farmer-driven research and activities; and the principle of empowering women, poor villagers and other vulnerable groups to take part in the decision-making process.
Based on these general approaches, Green Lane implemented a number of farmer- and community-driven research and advisory programs. The organization supports farmers to form and develop agricultural cooperatives and implements a number of projects aimed at the development of organic farming in Armenia.
We hold round tables, forums, exhibitions and harvest fairs and provide information support to farmers and other agricultural professionals through our publications and educational resources.
